Summary of the ELA and Social Studies Coordinator position:
The ELA and Social Studies Coordinator will support K-8th grade teachers in the implementation of all elements of the school’s comprehensive Reading/Language Arts and Social Studies Program. The Coordinator will work directly with teachers in school to provide classroom demonstrations in rigorous standards-based teaching.
Qualifications:
Desired Education: M.A. of Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field.
Years of Experience: 5 - 8 years of primary and/or early childhood classroom and/or Administrative experience.
Program development to meet K-5 curricular needs in alignment with the PreK-8 programs. Please see the attached job description for details.
