Durham Crisis Response Center is seeking to fill a part-time Shelter Relief position (Saturdays and Sundays 7 AM-7 PM).

The overall responsibility of the Shelter Relief Staff is to provide on-site supportive services to shelter residents or crisis line clients, to assure coordination with other agencies, and to assist with all aspects of shelter management. As needed, this position provides back-up coverage to Full Time Case Managers, facilitates support groups, organizes activities, and represents the Durham Crisis Response Center at community events.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent, degree preferred.

Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience in the field of Domestic Violence and/or Sexual Assault, Residential Services, or Case Management
• Experience in human service field recommended.
• Bi-lingual preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Day shift
