Overview
As the Kitchen Production Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the excellence of culinary operations in an industrial capacity. From quality control to cost management and employee well-being, you'll be at the forefront of ensuring all activities meet operational standards and timelines are maintained.
Responsibilities
Allocate 75% of time to kitchen duties and 25% to office tasks, optimizing productivity.
Recruit, coach, and evaluate staff, ensuring their development and performance.
Supervise production to maintain recipe adherence, consistency, and quality.
Open kitchen daily, overseeing production activities.
Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring efficient workflow and task prioritization.
Ensure staff efficiency, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards.
Lead the team during production, fostering a collaborative environment.
Manage timely ingredient procurement to avoid production delays.
Ensure all food meets quality standards within specified timeframes.
Maintain equipment inventory and storage standards.
Enforce strict sanitation guidelines in compliance with regulations.
Liaise with management regarding performance and operational needs.
Attend all company meetings and contribute to discussions.
Undertake additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility.
Adhere to company policies, including record-keeping and safety protocols.
Identify opportunities for operational enhancement.
Additional duties that may be assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
3-5 years of large-scale food service experience
2 years of experience in large-scale food production
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and quality monitoring
Strong organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer)
Familiarity with HACCP and USDA guidelines
Physical capability for kitchen duties
Flexible and adaptable for varied work schedules
Schedule: Day Shift (Hours/Days may vary based on clients' needs)
Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 Hourly
