We are seeking an Irrigation Manager with a knowledge of landscape irrigation systems.

The Irrigation Manager will oversee various irrigation systems throughout different properties, plays a critical role in creating and maintaining employee relationships, and is a key leadership team member. The work must be completed safely and efficiently to produce a high-quality product.

Responsibilities

Have regular communication and meetings with crew members while building enduring relationships with them.

Be responsible for the multimillion-dollar P&L of the irrigation division. expedite contracts and billing, and hire, train, inspire and develop irrigation staff.

Be accountable for the efficiency of your irrigation crews.

Establish goals, priorities and objectives for your crews and lead the execution of such.

Support hiring and mentoring of new team members.

Inspect & understand a basic irrigation system & design

Understand basic PVC pipe sizing & pipe fittings

Ability to troubleshoot & repair commercial & residential irrigation systems

Attention to detail with an eye to be proactive with future issues

Good organizational skills with all tools & parts needed

Strong communication skills & teamwork is essential

Ensuring that customers are completely satisfied through effective communication and relationship building.

Demonstrating role model behaviors on ethics and integrity as well as positively promoting the Company in particular, regarding safety, quality, and customer service.

Requirements

You must have 3-5 years’ experience in a management role.

2 years of landscaping irrigation repair experience & an eagerness to learn additional

Valid Driver’s License & clean driving record

Must have reliable transportation to our office

Strong oral and written communication skills (Bilingual is a strong plus).

Experience in operating and repairing irrigation systems.

Proficient with basic computer software programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong Work ethic.

Customer service experience – able to identify and resolve customer concerns.

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Pay will be based on experience.
