Duties
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
- Take x-rays
- Clean and maintain equipment and instruments
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment

Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a veterinary technician
- Proficient in pet care, animal catheterization, animal handling, aseptic technique, e animal restraint, and veterinary terminology
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
