Our busy hotel is seeking a customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be participating in the preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety and answering guest and hotel needs as they arise. The ideal candidate for this position will be an outstanding communicator, a team player, a great multi-tasker, and, above all, someone who enjoys engaging with new people.

$16 hourly

• Take care of guest complaints regarding building maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
• Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
• Collaborate with other personnel who will help you with maintenance tasks
• Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required
• Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
