The Courtyard by Marriott in Collegeville is currently hiring for a part time shuttle driver/houseperson. We have a 14 passenger Ford Transit Van that business guests and wedding guests use on a weekly basis. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service, who is familiar with the area, comfortable with driving a commercial vehicle, performing light cleaning duties during downtime and always willing to go above and beyond for our guests and fellow team members!

Monday-Thursday 6:30am-10:30am Monday-Friday.

Van Drivers are responsible for transporting guests to and from the hotel to local area businesses, attractions and restaurants. As well as assisting the guest with recommendations for restaurants and tourist activities. The van driver is also expected to support front desk operations. Primary responsibilities include: driving guests to designated locations, assisting guests with luggage, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and concierge duties. During down time of no shuttle requests, light houseperson duties are expected such as trash removal; indoor public area and outside of the hotel, light tidying of bathrooms and public spaces, stocking amenity areas, etc...

Requirements:

• Must have valid driver’s license with no major driving violations and have been driving for no less than 5 years.
• Van drivers must have strong analytical and navigation skills with the ability to coordinate multiple pick-ups and drop-offs on a schedule under continuously changing circumstances.
• Must possess excellent guest service and communication skills being able to sustain meaningful conversation with passengers.
• Must have the ability to professionally represent the hotel, deal positively with the public.
• May be required to lift 35-50 lbs.
• Preferred knowledge of the Collegeville area
• Routine driving history is checked to maintain compliance.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
