Cumberland Pediatrics is a busy pediatric practice with 3 locations based in Lebanon, Gordonsville & Hartsville, Tennessee. What You’ll Be Doing

The Medical Receptionist/Scheduler is responsible for providing scheduling, clerical and reception support for the clinic.

The successful candidate will be able to:

• Schedule visits from a list of child well visits
• Support the Patient Center Medical Home well visit scheduling and other value-based initiative and metrics for the practice
• Support mental health therapy appointment scheduling
• Assist with answering the clinic's phone overflow and assist with scheduling sick visits
• Follow up with patients after appointments and referrals
• Answer all phone calls timely, and in a professional and courteous manner
• Route calls and messages appropriately
• Effectively communicate with all staff and providers amongst all clinics
• Perform any and all other duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Experience in the medical field preferred
• Excellent PC skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced clinic setting and maintain a passion to help those in need
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills required
• Work independently, requiring minimal or no oversight and guidance
