Our instruction focuses on language and communication development through participation in exploration, play and socialization opportunities, activities of daily living, and evidence-based curriculum activities.

An opening floater is responsible for serving or assisting with breakfast, helping to open and set up classrooms and common areas, gathering materials and assisting teacher with planning for the day, and spending time facilitating peer interaction and socialization with students. The opening floating teacher will also assist with covering teacher breaks and planning time.

An opening floating teacher will become familiar with various classrooms to assist with the needs of the Center. This position can be filled by a part-time employee with their shift starting between 7:30 am and 8:00 am.

• Eligible to work in the United States
• GED or higher
• 6 months or more of experience in a licensed childcare facility (preferred but not required)
• Be 18 years of age.
• Provide a record of immunizations and a health screening questionnaire.
• Must clear state and federal background checks and pass a health screening.
• Have an issued form of identification

All staff will have access to center meals and snacks while working, paid annual professional development hours, paid initial and ongoing CPR training, and advanced training in behavior management and curriculum implementation.

Hourly pay is commensurate with related experience, training, and education.
