Job Description Marketing Manager

DBD is a leader in the Las Vegas corporate and experiential event production space and high-class destination manager services. We provide clients with complete event solutions from destination management to corporate and live event production, impactful event design, luxury rentals, custom design builds and fabrication, unique entertainment, and completely elevated immersive event experiences.

Position Overview:

A marketing manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the overall marketing strategy of a company or organization. They work closely with other departments, such as sales, product development, and advertising, to ensure the success of marketing campaigns and initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing marketing plans and strategies to promote the company's products or services.
  • Conducting market research and analysis to identify target markets and customer needs.
  • Creating and managing marketing budgets, including allocating funds for various marketing activities.
  • Overseeing the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including advertising, digital marketing, social media, and public relations.
  • Monitoring and analyzing marketing metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to create marketing materials, such as brochures, websites, and promotional materials.
  • Managing relationships with external vendors, such as advertising agencies and graphic designers.
  • Identifying and evaluating new marketing opportunities, such as partnerships or sponsorship opportunities.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing, Training and mentoring marketing team members.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and industry influencers.
  • Presenting marketing strategy and results to senior management.
  • Ensuring compliance with marketing regulations and laws.
  • Meets strict deadlines as determined.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the VP and Director of Creative
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Familiar with Canva
  • Basic formatting and copy-editing skills are required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere
  • College degree preferred or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
