Established Optometry Office looking to hire qualified Opticians for our Lebanon, PA office. The job requires the following skills:

• Interpret prescriptions written by the Optometrist
• Help clients/patients select eyeglass and lens treatments
• Personally, assist customers by giving prompt, courteous, and professional service
• Dispense optical eyewear in accordance with professional standards
• Create and complete work orders for the lab to ensure delivery of the proper lenses and patient satisfaction
• Adjust eyeglasses to ensure a proper fit
• Repair broken frames
• Educate clients/patients on proper eyeglass and contact lens care
• Assists Manager with keeping track of orders and inventory
• Merchandising and maintaining displays with stocked inventory
• Knowledge of vision insurance and ability to submit claims/bills for payment

Required experience 6 months to 1 year. Highly qualified candidates who speak English and Spanish are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
