Position: 1st Shift – Turret Operator

Location: Blaine, MN

Description:

• This position is responsible for creating parts based on stipulated guidelines by operating Turret manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate should have five years of operating a Turret Press experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate turret punch press to punch holes in metal sheets, plates, strips or bars.
• Work involves insert, align, and lock punches in turret using proper tooling.
• Knowledge of selecting proper die clearances based on material requirements.
• Able to set-up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters.
• Requires fast-paced environment work with frequently changing priorities.
• Basic ability to read blue prints, math skills, and process information and record all data.
• Perform both visual and dimensional inspections to quality standards.
• Good oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate, read and comprehend information effectively.
• Great level of attention and detail is required for quality standards.
• Follow proper procedures and instructions to ensure quality and safety.
• Work requires to be proficient with hands/feet and being able to stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
