Ideal candidates will have insurtech/fintech experience, are in the Philly area, however we are open to remote candidates. Responsibilities
End-to-end software development lifecycle:: Design, development, quality, deployment, and maintenance.
AWS Cloud architecture planning and utilization
Participates in sprint planning; provides work estimates to deliver product stories; owns development stories
Assists in development of automated testing and supporting code as necessary
Completes required documentation to communicate information to deployment, maintenance, and business teams
Utilizes agile software development practices, data and testing standards, code reviews, source code management, continuous delivery, and software architecture
Collaborate and help create solutions with the development team
Supporting release planning with conceptual design and development/refinement of software engineering guidelines
Writing technical documentation.
Effectively analyze a problem/task to give accurate timelines for milestones and full implementation completion.
Requirements
A minimum of seven (7) years of technical experience in software design, development, and implementation. Familiarity with Vue.js, React.js, TypeScript, JSON, GraphQL, Ruby is preferred
Proven expertise in building full-stack applications and managing large codebases
Experience with microservices architecture for creating modular, efficient, and maintainable code structures
Skilled in deploying software on AWS with a CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration and delivery while optimizing for scalability, security, and reliability
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Ability to foster innovation, encourage diversity of thought, and incorporate new ideas
