Dairy Queen is currently seeking Candidates for daytime & Evening time Host or Hostess who has year-round availability. Hours for this position are 11-2 and 4 pm to 9 pm Monday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Sunday. Additional shifts or hours may be available for special events. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE YEAR ROUND AVAILABILITY. As the Host or Hostess for Dairy Queen, you will be the face of Dairy Queen! Your job is to greet our guests as they come in and to provide remarkable service to ensure they each have a positive experience at Dairy Queen. You will anticipate the needs of guests by offering to retrieve condiments, refreshing beverages, and clearing trays. You will also create emotional connections with our guests through small talk and interacting with them and their families. The Host must be knowledgeable about Dairy Queen products and events so that guest questions can be answered. The Host must also be able to work quickly and efficiently in order to serve all guests in a timely manner. While cleaning is not a primary responsibility, the Host will assist the Dining Room Attendant during peak times in cleaning tables. Professional appearance and communication skills are required for this position. You will be provided with a uniform, including an apron. It must be neatly pressed and in good condition for each shift you work. You are responsible for your own slip-resistant shoes (solid black) and black socks. Visible tattoos are prohibited. Other dress code requirements will be discussed during interview. If you have a servant heart and talking to strangers, this position will be the right fit for you.
