We are seeking a full-time dental insurance coordinator. Our ideal candidate will be organized, demonstrate a strong work ethic, communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies and healthcare professionals and have integrity. We are a small, but busy private dental practice and need a candidate who can multitask with composure. Future team member will work between 32-38 hours per week earning $20-$28 per hour depending on experience and qualification.
Responsibilities will include:
· Verifying insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
· Collecting and updating patient insurance information accurately
· Calculating patient’s copays and estimates for treatment
· Submitting insurance claims and following up with outstanding claims
· Reviewing and interpreting Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and resolving any discrepancies or denials
· Maintaining accurate and organized patient records related to insurance information
· Coordinating with insurance companies, patients and healthcare providers to resolve billings issues
· Stay up-to-date with changes in insurance policies, billing codes and regulations
