Position Overview: 

A CNS Incident Reporting Analyst is looked to obtain, provide feedback, and provide a detailed analysis of available Crash Reports, Roadside Inspection Data, Safety Measurement System Data to meet CNS client needs.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties 

• Research and review internal & external systems regarding client incidents. 
• Be able to read, understand, and communicate incident reports as well as applicable supporting information. 
• Utilize various systems and technology to track and manage a high volume of incident reports. 
• Communicate effectively using a variety of means to CNS clients with regards to status of any available reports. 
• Work through reports to determine causes, fault, and preventability of incidents. 
• Utilize online & offline systems to order incident reports from State & Local jurisdictions. 
• Learn Requirements and Regulations in the 49 CFR in order to dispute violations effectively according to CNS Standard Operating Procedures.

Secondary Responsibilities and Duties 

• Case work related to other clients’ DOT Compliance needs 
• Project work both with teams and individually on a case-by-case basis

Skills/Competencies 

• Proficient in MS Office with focus on Excel and Accounting platforms 
• Ability to multi-task within a fast-paced office environment 
• High level of organization 
• Ability to communicate with state reporting agencies effectively 
• Ability to communicate and work effectively within a team structure 
• Ability to speak confidently & professionally around clients both in person and remotely
