Job Title:
Middle School Teacher (Grade 7-8) - Math, Literacy, Bible, and Co-curricular

General Responsibilities:

• Create a nurturing learning environment based on the six key student needs: Safety, Success, Belonging, Freedom, Enjoyment, and Purpose.
• Prepare and deliver engaging lessons in math, literacy, Bible, and co-curricular subjects, fostering academic growth and character development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and the Director of Academics to ensure alignment with the prescribed curriculum and grade-level standards.
• Model and cultivate a Christian worldview in all interactions with students, fostering spiritual growth and character formation.
• Provide supervision and support for students in various settings, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
• Set personal growth goals and monitor progress towards professional development and excellence.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• State teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Experience teaching middle school students
• Strong commitment to Christian education and the school's mission
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative spirit and eagerness to contribute to a positive school culture
