Creek View Veterinary Clinic in New Braunfels, Texas is seeking an experienced, pet zealous person to fill a full time Customer Service Position to cater to our pet parents. Hours will be varying from 7:00am-7:00pm Monday-Friday rotating Saturday shifts from 7:45am-12:00pm. We are a busy five doctor clinic with state of the art capabilities. We predominately minister to dogs and cats, but there are clients with exotic pets such as hedgehogs, pot-bellied pigs, reptiles, prairie dogs, rabbits, monkeys; you name it, we just might get an opportunity to treat it! We have been in business in New Braunfels since 1969 and our professional reputation is very important to us. The Customer Service Representative is the first person a client sees when they bring their pet to the veterinary office and is the last person to see the client as they leave the clinic.

Responsibilities:

• Someone who will care about the client as well as the pet; who will be able to answer questions intelligently, who can offer encouragement and sympathy appropriately and discuss financial issues with confidence and authority.
• Desire to serve, provide excellent customer service, and make a difference in the lives of people and their pets.
• Someone who is compassionate, courteous, who behaves professionally, communicates knowledgeably and is efficient.
• Multitasking and prioritizing job duties such as making appointments, answering phones, checking in and invoicing and checking out clients all while assisting the doctors and technicians with other receptionist functions.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with a desire to serve the owner and his/her pet as well as the co-workers of the clinic team.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a veterinary or medical front office setting would be preferred.
• At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
• Participation in continuing education opportunities as they arise.
