Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, analyzing financial data, and preparing financial reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical accounting, financial services, and regulatory reporting.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of five years experience

Duties:
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Utilize QuickBooks or other accounting software to record transactions and generate reports

Skills:
- Strong technical accounting skills with a solid understanding of GAAP principles
- Proficiency in financial services and knowledge of industry-specific regulations
- Excellent financial acumen with the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Experience with regulatory reporting requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- Knowledge of governmental accounting practices (preferred)
- Familiarity with private equity accounting (preferred)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing
