Job Description:

City of Lima, Ohio, is searching for a
full-time Assistant City Prosecutor for the Lima Municipal Court. No outside
practice of law permitted

Compensation:

· Salary range of $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
per year, depending on experience

· Excellent benefits

Work Hours:

· Full-Time

· Monday-Friday

· 8 AM – 5 PM

Typical prosecution duties include:

· Negotiating cases and plea
agreements

· Conducting bench and jury trials

· Preparing and presenting motions,
pleadings, and arguments in court and for appeals

· Interviewing witnesses, Police Officers,
victims, and others

Position Requirements:

· Criminal Trial experience preferred but
not necessary

· Will consider newly admitted attorneys

· Functional knowledge of Lexis and
Microsoft Office programs required

· Valid license to practice law in the
state of Ohio
