Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with youth in an educational or recreational setting. College coursework in recreation, education, exercise science, or a related field.

Additional Requirements:
Available May 28th thru July 19th, 2024
CPR & First Aid Certification required
CPR & First Aid classes will be offered, seasonally; okay to obtain off-site, certificate must be submitted upon request.
May have to work special events and/or holidays

Teen Program Leader Responsibilities:

Coach and referee teen basketball games
Plan and lead recreation and educational activities
Supervise teen ages 12-18 years old
Ensure safety of program participants
Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
Complete daily reports
Complete accident and incident reports when needed
Maintain organization in program areas
Follow Center/City policies and procedures
Various other duties as assigned by supervisor

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.85 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)
