We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Assessor to join our team. The Clinical Assessor will be responsible for conducting assessments, collecting data, and providing clinical insights to support patient care.
Duties:

Skills:
The ideal candidate for the Clinical Assessor position should possess the following skills:

Description of Duties:
Under direct supervision of the Clinical Administrator, provides assessment, re-assessment, and therapeutic services to child & adolescent mental health consumers and their families in an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include completion of complex biopsychosocial assessments, treatment team participation, treatment planning/monitoring and discharge planning. Must be familiar with assessing individuals for crisis, diagnostic formulation, and requesting insurance authorization for services.
Individuals in this position must be able to collaborate with community referral sources and must also possess a high level of attention detail under strict time constraints.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must hold a master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling with a supervised clinical practicum. Degree must be license eligible and individual must obtain clinical supervision.
Planning, communicating, teamwork, networking, writing, listening, motivating, and critical thinking skills are necessary for success.
Requires basic computer skills. Thorough understanding and working knowledge of all aspects of EMR. Utilizes discretion in handling the organization’s confidential information and consumer-protected information.
Must have a valid Georgia drivers’ license.
