Chapman Volkswagen of Scottsdale is looking for a Part Time File Clerk/Receptionist to join our team immediately. This role will primarily provide clerical support to our sales and service teams, ensuring appropriate filing of service records, and occasionally fill in at the reception desk in the showroom, ensuring customers receive prompt, friendly service. This role reports to the Customer Relations Manager and the Sales Management team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Sort and file repair orders alphabetically and chronologically, and create or update records with new files and information
• Store all paperwork and documents in designated places, ensuring confidential information is safeguarded
• Maintain organization of the filing room so that files can be easily located
• Fill in at the receptionist desk as needed; duties include answering and directing calls to the appropriate department, greeting visitors and providing general information

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision or direction
• Values organization and efficiency
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, completing assignments efficiently
• Good customer service and communication skills, both in person and over the phone
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Office, etc.) preferred
• Must be able to stand, squat and kneel up to 6 hours per shift
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Hours, Work Environment and Compensation:

We are looking for flexible candidates who are available to work 3pm – 9pm weekdays and Saturdays. You will not be required to work every day, but days scheduled may vary based on business needs. The candidate selected for this role will primarily work in the file room, occasionally covering the receptionist desk in the sales showroom as needed. Compensation starts at $15 per hour.
