What the Finance and Contracts Manager will do:
As the Finance and Contracts Manager, you will have oversight responsibility for general finance operations and contract management. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for performing bookkeeping, AP/AR, cashflow operations, and managing contracts. In addition, you will directly supervise 1 or more staff members in all facets of contract and proposal documentation, collections, invoicing, and other duties as needed. Critically, you will provide financial information to leadership via reports and meetings and will be asked to provide analysis and opinions on the financial implications of any proposed changes to existing company strategies.
What the day-to-day duties of the Finance and Contracts Manager are:
· General financial administration including, but not limited to:
· Supervise invoicing staff ensuring roughly 200 invoices per month are sent in a timely manner.
· Project Management of proposals and contracts. This includes, but is not limited to:
· Coordinate with the CEO on all company financial matters.
· Financial Analysis including projecting revenue vs. expenses, determining and tracking department KPIs and Metrics, and vetting leadership decisions for fiscal responsibility.
· Assess expenses, identifying areas where costs may be negotiable
What experiences and skills would make you the ideal candidate:
· Work history in a client service business.
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Public Administration, or related field
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills
· Excellent organizational and time management skills
· Dynamic multi-tasking ability
· Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner
· Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
