Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and previous experience in kitchen management, preferably in a hotel or fast paced kitchen setting.

Duties:

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the staff during assigned shifts

- Train and mentor new team members

- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

- Oversee food production and ensure quality standards are met

- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures

- Utilize Toast POS system for order processing and inventory control

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed

- Assist with scheduling and managing labor costs

- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving operational efficiency

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in a kitchen or restaurant setting

- Strong knowledge of food production and kitchen operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficient in interviewing, training, and coaching employees

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with ease
