Job Description:

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Jewelry Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for quality, a deep understanding of market trends, and a proven track record of successfully sourcing and selecting jewelry pieces that resonate with our target audience.

Responsibilities:

- Research and identify emerging trends in the jewelry industry.

- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers.

- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and auctions to source new jewelry collections.

- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with vendors.

- Conduct market analysis to determine pricing strategies and competitive positioning.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.

- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to meet customer demand.

- Stay informed about changes in consumer preferences and adjust purchasing strategies accordingly.

-Use knowledge of inventory to sell to customers and build customer relationships.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a Jewelry Buyer or in a similar role within the jewelry or fashion industry.

- In-depth knowledge of gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry manufacturing processes.

- Strong negotiation and communication skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

- Passion for jewelry and a keen eye for design and quality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
