Care Wear is a fast-paced startup located in the heart of NYC working to ensure each person feels like themselves in and out of the hospital. Founded in 2014 with a vision to incorporate fashion and innovation into healthwear solutions, striving to improve patient comfort and satisfaction while streamlining the treatment process for clinicians. Care Wear has been featured in press including The New York Times, Forbes, NPR, and on broadcast around the world, and named the 4th fastest growing company in America by the Financial Times in 2022 (20th in America by Inc. Magazine in 2021).

We use a comprehensive design thinking approach, working in conjunction with the end users, clinicians and designers to create products that provide the highest quality, function and experience. We partner with several foundations and leagues, and a portion of our profits are donated to our non-profit partners. We partner with brands like Oscar de la Renta and the Natori Company and schools such as Parsons School of Design. We work with many retailers, hospitals, leading medical distributors, and GPOs to distribute our products around the world.

We are looking for a dynamic and creative Video Content Marketing Intern who is passionate about everything related to content creation. As a part of our team, you will be responsible for producing engaging and viral content for our brand across various platforms, with a specific focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels. You excel at capturing attention in a crowded market and have a strong understanding of current trends and culture.

Responsibilities:

• Bring big ideas to the table and collaborate with the team to develop innovative content strategies.
• Create authentic, high-quality video content for social media channels, particularly TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera and participating in creating engaging social media content, no prior acting experience needed
• Create engaging content (written text, images and video) that aligns with brand look and feel, Collaborate with Community Manager to develop content strategies and calendars for all social channels. 
• Monitor and analyze the performance of content on social media accounts, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in marketing, tech, and the digital landscape to ensure our content remains relevant and fresh.
• Engage and interact with our online community, fostering connections and driving engagement.

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for content creation and storytelling, both on-camera and off.
• Proven experience creating engaging video content, particularly for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Knowledge of social media trends and the ability to adapt content strategies accordingly.
• Analytical thinking and a strong understanding of key platform metrics, specifically for TikTok and Instagram.
• A vibrant personality with the ability to rally people around you and your ideas.
• Self-motivated, inspired, and eager to contribute to our social media team's success.
• Impeccable storytelling skills — you know how to capture attention and maintain it.
• Strong writing and social media copywriting skills, including long- and short-form that resonates with the Care Wear brand and target audience.
