Pest Control Technician

Salary- $26-30 per hour

We are an established, family-owned business that has been Maryland's recognized termite and pest control leader for almost 30 years. We have an opportunity for a dedicated and professional technician for our pest control services. Competitive pay, great working environment, and sales/ commission opportunities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting and treating properties for pests, as well as providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Background
• Good communication skills
• State-issued driver's license
• Good driving record
• MDA licensed (preferred)
• At least 1 year experience in pest control (preferred)
• Able to lift 25 lbs
• Physically active a plus

Hiring Immediately. Experience is helpful but not necessary depending on related experience and skill sets. Duties:
- Conduct pest control inspections of residential and commercial properties
- Identify and recommend appropriate treatment plans for pest-related issues
- Apply pesticides in accordance with safety regulations and company guidelines
- Communicate with customers to explain treatment plans and provide recommendations for preventing future pest infestations
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and communicate effectively with the office staff

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Knowledge of pest control methods and products
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Strong sales skills to upsell services and products
- Proficiency in driving to various locations for service calls
