Central Florida Vein & Vascular Center is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team.

Since 1993, our experienced team of Board Certified Fellowship Trained Vascular Surgeons is providing patients of all ages with the most advanced, minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins, spider veins, leg pain, leg wounds and swelling, as well as many other painful and unsightly conditions caused from the effects of a venous insufficiency. Central Florida Vein and Vascular Center offers convenience with safe, minimally invasive procedures conducted through an outpatient, office-based setting, followed by a shortened recovery period.

We are a patient centered, boutique practice with 3 office locations: Ocoee, Kissimmee and The Villages. Patient satisfaction is the cornerstone of our practice achieved through personal attention to our patient needs. The care we provide is very personalized and as such an affable personality and positive attitude are essential for the successful applicant. The selected applicant would be responsible for everything from administrative work to patient and physician support tasks. They will help in getting patient's medical history information, taking their vital signs and all patient care during office procedures. Knowledge of Medical Manager/ Greenway Intergy program is preferred, however training would be provided as long as requirements are met.

Requirements and Responsibilities:

  • Documentation of all patient medical history
  • Obtaining patient records ad test results
  • Scribing for the providers
  • Preparing rooms and assisting providers during procedures (UGS, EVLT, RF, Venaseal, Phlebectomies, etc.)
  • Obtaining and recording vitals during office visits and procedures
  • Collecting measurements for proper fitting of compression stockings
  • Preparing and administering medications for patients as directed by physicians
  • Coordinate daily administrative activities including scheduling, patient check in and check out, medical record maintenance, etc
  • Must have certification from a medical assistant program
  • Current CPR certification
  • A basic understanding of patient care, medical terminology, coding procedures, etc

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and a rich benefits package is provided. This is a Full Time position, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.
