**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Paint Counter Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate must be bilingual, have a passion for assisting commercial contractors and residential customers with their paint needs, and able to provide exceptional customer service.

**Duties:**

- Greet and assist customers in selecting the right paint products for their projects

- Offer color matching expertise

- Mix and match paint colors accurately to fulfill customer specifications

- Provide guidance on paint application techniques and tools

- Load and unload paint buckets for clients

- Help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner

- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience

- Maintain the paint counter and aisles daily

- Answer customer phone call inquiries and questions regarding architectural, commercial, and industrial paint products and coating materials

- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently

- Accurately process credit card transactions

- Manage inventory and processing of incoming stock

- Uphold merchandising and store cleanliness standards

- Execute the daily operational, day-to-day goals and priorities assigned by management

**Requirements:**

- Bilingual (English and Spanish)

- Must be able to distinguish the difference between colors and color match

- Extensive experience selling to commercial contractors and residential customers

- Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials used in the painting industry

- Knowledge in the preparation and application of paints to different types of surfaces

- Capability to conduct product demonstrations and explain features to customers

- Excellent communication skills with customers and team members, exceptional organizational ability, high attention to detail, and ability to multitask

- Must be punctual and dependable

- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders

- This job requires the physical requirements of standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching overhead, gripping, squatting, and carrying the product to and from the delivery and customer vehicles as well as to areas within the store

- Miscellaneous tasks around the paint counter, shelves, and stock area, including, but not limited to stocking and cleaning

- Other duties as assigned by management
