Bezalel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center -

Cook position open for a nursing home in Far Rockaway, New York. Morning Shift : 6-2 available. Nursing Home experience prefered but not required.

1199 SEIU. Cooking experince a plus. Weeekend required.

Responsibilites inlcude :

• Assisting with meal preparation and serving.
• Inspecting special diet trays to ensure they comply with the dietary restrictions.
• Assisting the Cook with determining kitchen supplies and stock for the day, as well as checking and maintaining stock levels.
• Delivering dishes and trays at designated times and rooms
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• Ensure work station is kept clean and sanitary
• Adherence to Infection Control standards and practices

Requirements :

• Some experience in Nursing Home or LTC facility preferred
• Valid photo ID
• Physical & 1 PPD / X-Ray (Physical, 1 PPDs - dated less than 1yr old)
• MMRs (Lab Work, Titers)
• Covid-19 Vaccine
