About Bona Bona

This is our first Northern Westchester location and we are excited to be sharing a space with Trio Pizza! Bona Bona is a dessert bar serving an ever-evolving collection of delicious and imaginative small-batch ice cream flavors, sundaes, milkshakes, and unique sweet treats. Our flagship location in Port Chester, NY offers plenty of seating both indoors and out and a party room we lovingly refer to as Sprinkle Time, a great venue for all types of events. In addition, we offer catering for private and public events with our food truck and cart and are premiere partner at Smorgsburg, the largest open-air food market in the US.

The Role: Cashier/Scooper

Seeking team members who pride themselves on being attentive, friendly and accommodating. We aspire to have everyone that walks up has an experience they want to share, not just a transaction.

We need experienced scoopers- our store is high volume and requires someone who can work quickly and efficiently to move people thru the line!

Pay starts at $16 per hour plus tips.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily set up- unpacking inventory, stocking, cleaning and ensuring concession area is ready for service
• Take orders and collect payment
• Prepare cones and cups, make milkshakes, warm sundaes
• Pre-shift and mid shift food prep
• Closing side work includes wiping down all counters, equipment, restocking, loading truck as needed

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Shows strong teamwork and ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Sense of urgency
• Previous experience scooping and serving ice cream a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other team members
