Position Summary:Bold Orange (BOCO) is excited to add a Director of Marketing and Strategic Growth to help spearhead the continued growth trajectory of the Company. The Strategic Growth team at Bold Orange leads all marketing and business development efforts for the organization. With responsibilities spanning go-to-market strategy, content, demand generation, and partner marketing, the Director of Marketing is a multi-faceted marketing and CX leader with proven experience building effective strategies and establishing lasting relationships with internal teams, partners, prospects and clients. BOCO’s approach to driving business growth is different from most agencies in the market. We’re building a leading customer experience company and driving the growth that supports that vision requires the Director of Marketing, Strategic Growth to have a diverse background of experience—from building and refining go-to-market plans to leading the end-to-end execution and promotion of events, awards, client case studies, paid media campaigns, and sales enablement content. This leader must build deep relationships and partner proactively with SME’s across the organization to maximize the impact of our efforts. This role is highly entrepreneurial and presents a unique opportunity for the right leader with a strong background and sense of curiosity to partner closely with company leadership, bring forward new ideas, drive demand-generating initiatives, and collaborate with incredible talent across the organization. This role will partner closely with the VP of Strategic Growth, the broader Strategic Growth team, and many subject matter experts across the company to continue the growth trajectory that has landed the company on the Inc. 5000, and the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s Fast50 multiple times. Position Duties and Responsibilities:Go-to-Market Strategy
Partner closely with leadership to refine BOCO’s go-to-market strategy
Have an obsessive desire to understand the agency and consultancy landscape, and keep a pulse on competitive trends
Create and implement new marketing strategies that build awareness for our range of service offerings, including our Salesforce Marketing Cloud practice
Lead ongoing strategic planning, reporting, and iterative testing and learning of our marketing efforts
Marketing and Demand Generation Leadership
Provide strong brand oversight to ensure that every touchpoint with the BOCO brand in the marketplace is of the highest quality and aligns with our purpose, beliefs, and brand standards
Lead the development of marketing strategies and materials to communicate the value of our offering. These materials may include capability presentations, approach presentations, case studies, internal education documentation, and more
Lead the process of quickly and effectively understanding and communicating case studies for recent client work
Partner with the Sr. Marketing Manager on the development and execution of the agency’s marketing plan
Provide oversight and support the creation of content including website content, videos, event presentations, webinars, and POVs
Oversee the identification and submission of awards (growth, merit-based, workplace, etc.)
Support the ideation and execution of the agency’s events strategy—from partner events to company-hosted events, and lead the creation of any content needs for events
Develop a reporting strategy to regularly measure the impact of marketing efforts and lead the continuous improvement of those programs
Lead the development of sales enablement needs—from defining packaged offerings and solutions to crafting tailored presentations for new opportunities
Required Qualifications and Experience:
7-10 years of experience in marketing strategy and lead generation
Seasoned in a client service organization, preferably within a digital agency or consulting firm.
An entrepreneurial self-starter who proactively brings forward new ideas with a test-and-learn mentality
Firsthand knowledge of, and experience in strategy and delivery across core areas of the Bold Orange services offering including, CX Strategy and Design, Performance Marketing and Digital Media, and Marketing Technology (including Salesforce)
Proven experience building holistic go-to-market strategies across paid, owned and earned channels, and leading the execution of those strategies
Must have a keen eye for great design, and a passion for creating high-quality, engaging PowerPoint presentations for events, webinars, case studies, etc.
Experience leading paid media strategies with executional support from SMEs
Ability to proactively set, manage, and deliver on expectations in a dynamic growth environment
Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage and execute many priorities simultaneously
A strong sense of urgency when needed and demonstrated success in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to collaborate at the Bold Orange headquarters in Minneapolis at least three days a week.
