We are currently interviewing for Experienced Thermal Spray Technicians in Hebron, KY.

Bodycote is offering a $1500 sign-on bonus!

Wage rate is determined by experience

Shift differential - $1.50 for 2nd shift

2nd shift hours are 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM Monday – Friday
Training on position with Lead Technicians

As a Thermal Spray Technician you will be responsible for performing HVOF, plasma and/or other thermal spray coating operations per customer requirements and job folder specifications. In addition you will:

Review job folder to verify area of part to be masked, cleaned and/or blasted and coated. Confirm all pre-coating requirements have been completed according to job folder specification. Blueprint reading is a preferred skill.
Set-up parameters and process and operate thermal spray equipment and robotics.
Follow in-process inspection procedures as needed to verify current operation meets customer and technical plan requirements.
Competency in use of basic precision measuring instruments.
Record and sign off on all applicable data defined in the job folder.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holder.
Education – High School diploma and a technical certification, two year degree in a technical field or combination of training and experience.
Working experience in a production environment that demonstrates capability to learn thermal spray processes.
Previous plasma, thermal spray and/or HVOF spray experience preferred.
