Belmed Inc., with over 40 years of manufacturing experience, is looking for the right candidate to fill the position of Machine Shop CNC Operator.

Job Description:

The Machine Shop Operator is responsible for machining aluminum and brass parts to spec, general machine maintenance, and keeping a clean and clear work area. Typical runs of 50-500 parts.

Key aspects of the position:

· General Machine shop practices.

· Inspect and document work pieces, making sure parts conform to specifications.

· Manual machining using mills and lathes.

· Teamwork and communication skills

· The ideal candidate will be a self-driven individual with the desire to grow and succeed with the company.

Duties:

· CNC Vertical Mill (Haas Controller)

· CNC Lathe (Haas Controller)

· Manual Mill

· Manual Lathe

· Saws

· Forklift

CNC Setup ability is a plus. No programming.

Minimum Requirements:

- High School Diploma, Ability to read and comprehend part blueprints.

-One year of machine shop experience.

-Pay rate depends on experience.

CROSSTRAINING REQUIRED

-Belmed cross trains all employees for multiple positions. This allows for a cohesive and fluid workforce that allows Belmed to handle its ever-changing demands.

Full Time 1st Shift Position Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM
