Overview: BulletProof Hitches is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our team at our company headquarters in Lakewood Ranch, FL. The Shipping Associate will work closely with the Shipping Manager to ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, printing shipping labels, coordinating shipments with various carriers, and managing documentation related to shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Review orders for accuracy and completeness before processing.
- Utilize FedEx, UPS, and USPS platforms to print shipping labels and schedule pickups.
- Quote freight orders and produce Bills of Lading (BOL) and other necessary shipping documentation.
- Handle filing of shipping claims and disputes as needed.
- Coordinate shipments to Amazon FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) warehouses.
- Work with Shopify and Amazon platforms to manage orders and shipping processes.
- Maintain organized records of shipments and documentation.
- Assist with inventory management as needed.
- Collaborate with the Shipping Manager to optimize shipping processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in shipping and logistics, preferably with high volume (150-300 packages/day).
- Familiarity with shipping software such as FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, and USPS Click-N-Ship.
- Proficiency in using Shopify and Amazon platforms for order processing and fulfillment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work well independently as well as part of a team.
