TITLE: Food Program Head QUALIFICATIONS: 21 years or older with a high school diploma or GED REPORTS TO: Building Principal SUPERVISES: Cafeteria Assistant(s) JOB GOALS: Compliance with governing authorities: CACFP, Health Department and DHS/OEC
Performance Value: Activities and Environment 1. Organizes work efficiently and maintains a clean work environment that is safe. 2. Monitors kitchen space to assist in keeping it neat and organized. 3. Provides adequate feedback to supervisors and peers daily. 4. Has the ability to identify problems and assist in correction. 5. Performs all duties associated with managing the TRPS Food Program. 6. Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis. 7. Must possess a good driving record. 8. Other duties as assigned.
Professional Responsibilities 6. Meets program attendance requirements. 7. Punctual, including submits time off in Frontline and clocks in/out at assigned time. 8. Maintains professional appearance following program dress code. 9. Open to new ideas and takes initiative. Possesses enthusiasm for the position. 10. Accepts responsibility for job-related tasks including documentation and record keeping. 11. Ability to purchase and replenish sites with necessary supplies and food service needs through various food distributors. 12. Accurately maintain records and submit reports to the Arkansas Special Nutrition Program Standards. 13. Must be able to properly use company financial sources (e.g. purchase orders, credit cards) to purchase program items. 16. Supervises Assistant for program expectations regarding job performance and professional development as outlined in the personnel handbook. 17. Completes all Better Beginnings guidelines required of support staff. 18. Accepts all assignments given by supervisors. 19. Ensures that all program requirements are maintained. 20. Completes yearly self-evaluation and provides input for staff performance evaluations following district and/or program process. 21. Uses good judgment and keeps information confidential. 22. Follows chain of command with issues or concerns. 23. Knowledge and ability to proficiently use technology required for position to include the ability to develop spreadsheets and input data as needed. 24. Supports and follows all administrative and district decisions and all personnel policies and procedures as outlined in the personnel handbook. 25. Maintains all areas of professionalism (dress, demeanor, speech, confidentiality) with supervisors, staff, co-workers, other district staff and the community.
