Job Responsibilities of Shop Service Writer: Serving customers is the key to success in this position. Combining your in-depth automotive repair knowledge with your exceptional people skills, you'll manage customer relationships and frequently serve as a liaison between technicians and customers. You'll also select, coach, lead, train and supervise another service writer and a team of vehicle technicians while handling the purchase of parts, materials and equipment. You will be responsible for the overall management of the store - utilizing staff to maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming appearance.
