Role: Sales Tax Preparer

Location: White Plains

Salary: $40,000

AVASK is seeking for a Sales Tax Preparer to be based in White Plains, New York. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing tax compliance and consulting services.

The position will be focused on conducting timely sales tax filings on a monthly basis with a continuously growing list of e-commerce clients.

Responsibilities, but not limited to

• Prepare state sales tax returns.
• Setting up new sales tax clients.
• Review clients' sales platforms and provide reports/retrieve data on their sales returns.
• Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders making sure the needs of existing, and new sales tax clients are met.
• Build long lasting relationships with clients and staff.

Essential skills, knowledge, and experience

• Fluency in Spanish would be advantageous.
• Experienced in retrieving data/numbers and working with Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills alongside client service skills.
• Highly motivated, and organized individual.
• Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills.
• Knowledge of interface of Amazon, Shopify and/or online selling platforms from sales field.
