Job Title: Float Therapist/Clinician

Reports To: Clinical Director

Mission: Are you a clinician that works with colleagues, case management and support staff to deliver the highest quality care? You will implement client-centered care, ensuring a healthy virtual treatment community, and a strong organizational culture. You will champion AspenRidge’s successful and growing telehealth program. Must be available to work evenings.

The Float Primary therapist is expected to be able to “float” between AspenRidge Recovery locations on an as needed basis. We have locations in Ft Collins, Lakewood, and Colorado Springs. We additionally have virtual services. Where a clinician goes will depend on coverage needs (due to staff illness, vacations, etc.) and where we may be opening a new group, or other needs.

Outcomes:

• Engages in 22-25 client-facing hours per week.

• Supports utilization reviews as needed.

• Conducts accurate Biopsychosocial Assessments as needed. Have knowledge and skills in recognizing symptoms of disorders according to DSM 5 criteria while documenting data to support diagnosis.

• Creates individualized treatment and continuing care plans that include multidisciplinary team input as well as involvement of the patient, referent, family, and other appropriate collateral resources.

• Conducts individual and group counseling using proven approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral treatment, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and 12-step facilitation principles. Specific trauma treatment training a plus. Facilitate patient awareness, understanding, and motivation to change related to addiction, mental illness, and recovery issues.

• Produces and ensures high quality and accurate clinical documentation along with consistent, on-time submission of all required documentation.

• Facilitates consistent communication with family members/significant others throughout treatment.

• Conducts case management for clients on an as-needed basis, ensuring minimal disruption to care.
