```Duties```

- Review and analyze medical records and patient information to ensure accurate billing

- Assign appropriate codes using CDT coding systems

- Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations for dental procedures

- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies for reimbursement

- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing discrepancies or denials

- Collaborate with medical staff and insurance providers to ensure proper documentation and billing practices

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations

```Qualifications```

- Previous experience in dental billing or coding

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and coding systems

- Familiarity with medical office procedures and insurance guidelines

- Proficient in using billing software and electronic health record systems

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
