Come join our team! We have an immediate need for an experienced full time (FT) (36-40 hours/week) Medical Assistant (MA) (CMA) for the Center for Colon & Rectal Care for Surgery Scheduling. This position will perform all necessary surgery scheduling functions for patients in addition to supporting the nursing staff and physicians which includes:

• Scheduling surgery times at various hospitals
• Educating patients in preparation for surgery
• Obtaining sugary clearances and lab results
• Putting in orders
• Assist in the office with rooming patients, taking vitals, scheduling, answering the phone

JOB TYPE:

• Full-time 36-40 hours per week, M-F

EDUCATION:

• Completion of a medical assisting program from an accredited school is required.
