Ambassador Worldwide Protection Agency, Inc. is currently seeking experienced and qualified individuals to join our team as a Field Shift Supervisor in Memphis, TN metropolitan area. Under general supervision the Field Shift Supervisor directs and leads subordinates in enforcing AWPA policies and procedures, state and federal laws and local ordinances. Typical duties include:

• Interprets and supplies company policy in a wide variety of situations 

• Interprets policies and procedures to apply to private property activities and situations, which may arise 

• Supervises evaluates, trains and provides guidance to subordinate personnel 

• Recommends commendation and disciplinary action

• Assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures 

• Exhibits good relations with clients by supporting and getting involved in community-oriented policing programs and activities and maintains those good relations by providing quality service 

• Acts as a liason between upper management and subordinates

• Assists with internal complaint investigations 

• Investigates crimes and performs direct apprehension activities of crime involved on private property

• Interviews and interrogates victims / witnesses / suspects 

• Interprets and implements laws on search and seizure 

• Writes complete, concise, and coherent reports for a variety of purposes and evaluates reports for continued investigation

• Supervises the activities of law enforcement officers and related personnel during an assigned shift 

• Aids and assists personnel, gear, equipment, and facilities. 

• Evaluates work and performance of subordinates

• Assures conduct and performance of subordinates is within guidelines established by departmental rules, regulations and procedures 

• Covers unmanned posts as needed when personnel are absent

Requirements: 

• Must be a citizen of the United States or a resident alien and eligible to work in the United States. 

• Must have possession of an active State of Tennessee Armed Security License (Guard Card). No Exceptions. 

• Must have own weapon & holster. 

• Proficient in firearms knowledge and the ability to successfully qualify on additional weapon, if needed. 

• Must have a valid Driver License with a clean driving record 

Qualifications: 

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience working as a security officer. 

• Good moral character with no convictions for DUI, Domestic Violence, Drug or Narcotics charges, Theft or other dishonest acts. 

• No disability that would hinder the ability to perform required duties. 

• Strong observation skills and attention to detail. 

• Must not have been dishonorably discharged from U.S. military service. 

• Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills. 

• Attention to detail and strong teamwork skills. 

• Capacity to work well under pressure. 

• Basic computer skills for operating security equipment.
