Job Overview:

Alpine Nursing Home’s Activity Department is looking to hire a part-time Activities Assistant. The position would entail about 15-25 hours weekly, with a mix of afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts. Some holidays will be mandatory. Activities Assistants are responsible for transporting residents to and from group programs and meals in the dining room, running small and large group programs (both independently and in conjunction with other Activities staff members as scheduling permits), offering 1:1 room visits and assisting in setting up independent, leisure activities for residents who prefer to stay in their rooms, assisting with events/parties/holidays, and documenting the residents’ activity attendance and participation. Candidates must have a passion for working with older adults, patience, a go-with-the-flow attitude, and be quick-thinkers. Candinates must also have proof of being fully vaccinated. CNA license and experience working in a nursing home or an assisted living facility are preferred, but not required and candidates with active CNA license are eligible for additional compensation. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
