Alabama Medical Group, P.C. is Hiring a RN Infusion Nurse ( PRN) Near Mobile, AL
Alabama Medical Group has an opening for a PRN RN infusion nurse. The infusion nurse is responsible for administering necessary fluids, infusion therapy and medications to patients.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
1. Schedule patients for infusion and injection appointments.
2. Start peripheral IVs and maintain central venous catheters.
3. Monitor patients during treatment.
4. Provide education to patients on how to manage conditions and follow-up care post infusion.
5. Collaborate and confer with physicians regarding patient’s status and treatment needs.
6. Documenting all interactions and communication with patients, plan of treatment, assessment, patient responses/reactions to treatment, status of disease process and training activities
7. Entering medical documentation data into EHR
8. Other duties as assigned
Education: RN. Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing. Current Alabama nursing license. Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
PRN with occasional short hour on weekends.
