Duties
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily activities. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for those you care for.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or seniors requiring support
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document any changes or reactions
- Monitor and record vital signs as necessary
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure dietary needs are met
- Accompany individuals on outings or appointments as needed
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote overall well-being

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

1. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, or seniors in a professional setting
2. Knowledge of personal care techniques and best practices
3. Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs
4. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to provide transportation services if required
5. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and healthcare professionals
6. Ability to follow instructions and work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion

Please note that experience in a nursing home or similar environment is preferred but not required.
