We are expanding our services into the multi-family sector and are seeking an experienced Multi-Family Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing restoration projects within multi-family properties, ensuring quality and timely delivery of services.

Job Description:
As a Multi-Family Project Manager specializing in property restoration/turnovers, you will lead the coordination and execution of restoration projects within multi-family properties. You will collaborate closely with property owners, property management teams, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management skills, including budget management, stakeholder coordination, and quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight: Manage restoration projects within multi-family properties from initiation to completion, including restoring units after water, fire, smoke, exterior damage, etc., ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with property owners, property management teams, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to align project goals and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, including buyouts, work orders, and subcontractor agreements, while ensuring financial oversight throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Financial Oversight: Collect progress payments from clients, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure project funds are allocated effectively.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with estimators, project coordinators, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate efficient project execution and resolve any project-related issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including sign-offs, job file updates, and project-related communications.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication among internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure project objectives are met and expectations are managed appropriately.
  • Finalization: Oversee project closeout activities, including ensuring all project requirements are met and the project is completed to the client's satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or restoration industry, with a focus on multi-family properties.
  • Familiarity with property restoration services and processes, including coordination with property management teams, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong budget management skills, with the ability to create, monitor, and adjust project budgets as needed.
  • Financial acumen, with a focus on progress payment collection and fund tracking.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, with a commitment to maintaining accurate project documentation and ensuring quality control.
  • Ability to navigate complex project environments and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
