A Joyous Kare is looking for home health aides and personal care attendants to join our strong team servicing the state of Indiana. We are seeking candidates that are flexible and can work at multiple locations if needed. This position is a direct, in home, client care position that is committed to enhancing the quality of life of our clients. You will assist with the daily tasks of elderly, mentally disabled, chronically ill, or physically challenged clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with personal hygiene
  • Dressing or undressing of the client
  • Cleaning and housekeeping
  • Laundry
  • Feeding, meal preparation and grocery shopping
  • Medication reminders and opening medication containers
  • Companion services
  • Appropriate reporting of changes in client status

Qualifications

  • Minimum Age 18
  • CPR certified preferred
  • Current Indiana Driver’s license
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass PCA Competency and Skills Test with 85% or higher
  • Must pass Criminal Background Check, Pre-Employment Drug Test and TB Test.
  • Must comply with privacy and HIPAA laws.
  • Must comply with client’s rights.
  • Must be in good physical health.

* High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred
