3DE by Junior Achievement is an instructional model implemented through direct support from school districts and the local business community. About the Role:
The Director, 3DE is where strategy meets operations. The Director, 3DE understands the long-term vision of the JA Area, supports the formation of strategy, understands the inputs and resources necessary to achieve the goals, and builds and supports the team capable of leading implementation.
Role Overview:
The Director, 3DE is a member of the Junior Achievement Leadership team that acts as a liaison between the 3DE National team and schools, districts, and community partners and is responsible for meeting quality assurance metrics and ensuring teammates are adhering to training and monitoring requirements to implement the 3DE Instructional Model successfully. Within this role, you will be responsible for hiring, monitoring, and developing high-performing talent through effective communication, acknowledgment of achievements, and coaching to improve performance. In addition, this role is responsible for providing updates and guidance on operational requirements to ensure adjacent leaders (development, finance, programs, etc.) are informed and capable of supporting objectives as needed. Further, you will maintain relationships with District Champions through consistent follow-through of activities, amplification of successes, and working in partnership to develop solutions to deepen and sustain integration. As the Director, 3DE you will be required to be deeply knowledgeable of the 3DE instructional model and its complexities/differentiators to best allocate resources, support implementation success, and inform decision-making. The ideal candidate is an effective leader capable of building a high-functioning team that plans collaboratively and works autonomously to achieve shared goals, while managing ongoing connectivity with key stakeholders, up to and including the local community.
