Position: Associate Director, Braun US Department: Marketing Work Location: Marlborough, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite) Hybrid Schedule: Helen of Troy associates enjoy the advantages and flexibility of a hybrid working model, allowing for in office 3 days minimum, and remote 2 days. Any changes to this working model would be communicated accordingly. What you will be doing: The Associate Director, Braun US will report to the VP, Wellness and will handle the US Braun brand marketing team (Brand Managers) in supporting healthcare product categories including Thermometry and Blood Pressure Monitors. You will plan, prioritize, direct, and provide strategic and marketing leadership cross-functionally to achieve long-range business development objectives. US Strategy Development: Data driven approach to closing gaps and crafting opportunities for growth in the marketplace. Deep understanding of the Consumer, the Customer, and the Competition, and turning insights into winning strategies to increase sales and share for the brand. Accountable for managing an effective channel strategy and pricing, ensuring profitability success across the portfolio. Ability to lead a team in agile and flexible execution of strategy. GTM Commercialization Strategy: Partner with the Helen of Troy Center of Excellence on crafting a successful Go-to-Market commercialization strategy to drive brand goals. Experience crafting successful brand campaigns that increase awareness and consideration and ultimately result in brand growth. Ensuring the brand is connecting with consumers at all touchpoints and delivering powerful communication to increase awareness. This includes supervising the budget, and driving strategy with content creators, media partners, PR agencies, and more. An understanding of media metrics is vital to drive successful Key Performance Indicators. Retail / E-commerce Expertise: Ability to partner with sales on demonstrating brand PODs to all major retail partners in the US. Effective storytelling capabilities and using data to ensure powerful product and brand pitches to deliver growth. Extensive expertise growing brands on shelf and on-line. Experience using retail media solutions, especially Amazon Marketing Solutions and extensive knowledge of PDP optimization and other tactics to drive the digital shelf. Will collaborate with sales and demand planning on forecast accuracy. Portfolio Management: Responsible for understanding the roles new products will play within the existing product portfolio, assuring each SKU is profitable, has a “reason for being” and is accurately positioned relative to current assortment and competition in the marketplace across relevant regions. Partner with Global team on request for new product innovation needed to achieve brand success in the US. Skills needed to be successful in this role: Ability to thrive in an agile team environment where creative problem solving Collaboration and influence skills up-down-across organization Strong understanding of how to leverage media (offline and digital) to grow brands in US Experience driving content, influencer, and PR strategy and using tools needed for execution Proficient in outstanding digital tools including digital content development and experience planning Proven understanding of costing/pricing financial analysis and P & L management Experience handling direct reports Robust experience and knowledge of US retailer environment, buyer engagement, sizing/pricing strategy, and promotion planning with Sales team Strong independent champion of ideas and highly creative marketer of consumer insights Experience and skill in presenting ideas, strategy and plans to executive level teams and retail partners Strong project and time management skills, able to lead and direct multiple projects simultaneously Comfortable with making and standing behind decisions Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 10 years marketing experience in the consumer durables/electronics/healthcare arenas 2 years in a leading role in new product development or brand marketing Experience working with and addressing retail and e-commerce accounts Experience driving GTM strategy including digital Fluent in English (spoken and written) Ability to travel domestically and potentially globally Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Preferred Qualifications: Experience with connected products and MarTech, particularly healthcare or wearables Licensing experience MBA in marketing and management or equivalent experience Benefits: Salary Bonus, Healthcare, Dental, Vision, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, 401(k) with company match, Basic Life Insurance, Short Term Disability (STD), Long Term Disability (LTD), Paid Time Off (PTO), Paid Charitable (volunteer) Leave, and Educational Assistance.
